A Sceptic Society occurs as nonprofit organization devoted to promoting scientific skepticism and resisting the spread of pseudoscience, superstition, and irrational beliefs. A class action was founded inside 1992 by Michael Shermer, who when of 2005 remains one of the primary officers & publisher of the society's periodical, Doubter magazine. Rather CSICOP and the James Randi Educational Foundation, the Doubter Society investigates extraordinary claims.
